Events/Account Management Intern

The Job Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Events/Account Management Intern who will play a key role in supporting the Account Managers in the delivery of client services.

The successful applicant must be able to work for three months from 9am – 5.30pm. A probationary period of one month must be completed. Ongoing roles and opportunities may be offered to the successful candidate upon completion of the internship depending on position availability and candidate suitability.

Key elements of the role that should excite you:

  • Assisting with general client account management and client services to a range of international clients. Our clients are Event Organisers who are based in UK and abroad.
  • Maintaining the database of client contacts and new prospects in the CRM
  • Preparing new contracts, information and proposals to existing and new clients
  • Ensuring invoice payments are up to date
  • Assisting with scheduling of company webinars
  • Drafting up and sending client communications/newsletters
  • Helping to prepare our exhibition stand for industry events, such as IMEX and EIBTM
  • Assisting with company presentations to new prospects

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an events/business degree is essential
  • You must be a team player with a professional manner, a self-starter and have exceptional communications skills
  • Attention to detail with a thorough approach to you work
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills
  • High standard of grammar skills and writing
